Wilma And Martin's Burn House Manor Hotel Wedding
When I first met Wilma and Martin, I knew that they would host a fantastic day for all their family and friends. Wilma had a no stress approach to the big day and it paid off! Whilst getting ready with her bridesmaid and beautiful flower girl, she remained calm and collected, with plenty of time to spare (that's a first for me)!
Martin however was a little nervous and dare I say, a little emotional! I think the nerves subsided as soon as Martin saw Wilma walking down the aisle with her grandson Jack - nothing else seemed to matter, his focus was solely on Wilma.
The ceremony was beautiful and went down well with a few laughs all round, but I think Wilma and Martin would agree that the big surprise of the day was the confetti (just as they were about to walk back up the aisle). The guests had conspired against me, and kept it a secret to try and throw me off ;) Although I managed to jump in to firing range, and after a few rounds got the shot I was looking for!
After the ceremony, we went outside for the group shots which went down without a hitch. After a 15 minutes breather, myself and Nikoletta took Wilma and Martin on the infamous 'couples shoot'. We shot a really relaxed walk up and down the entrance to the venue, which was simple but worked very well. We then decided to do another couple of shots, which were a little more staged (some outside and some inside on the stairs), just before getting rained off!
Shortly after, the guests were greeted, seated and enjoyed a lovely meal with speeches(see photos). The evening then shifted to night and we were treated to a lovely first dance, closely followed by family and friends.
Myself and Nikoletta had a lovely day and it really was a pleasure to photograph. . . .
Congratulations Wilma and Martin, Wishing you both all the best from Daniel Wilcox Photography
